Delivery Room Cleaning in Hospitals

There is a lot of delivery room cleaning that hospital maintenance teams should do. It is a must that maintenance teams use antiseptic and bacteria-killing solutions. The floors should be cleaned thoroughly. All the equipments such as basins, lights, racks, delivery and instrument tables should be wiped down with cleaning solutions daily. Labor rooms, locker, beds, and chairs should be disinfected at least twice a week. Floors, walls, and basically all the parts of the delivery room are treated with disinfectant and antibacterial solutions to remove the contaminants that dwell in the delivery room. Delivery room cleaning must also be concerned with the quality of indoor air that circulates in the entire room; ventilating systems should be warded off from dust, molds and other pollutants and irritants as well.
